Why did you want a boudoir session with Kierra Josette- Intimate Artistry? I booked my most recent session when I was pregnant with my third baby. I scheduled a date that would put me about 5 months postpartum, which seems like a terrible time to get nude photos taken. I intentionally chose a time where I was probably going to be unhappy with my body because I knew my images would show me how truly beautiful my body is.


What were your initial feelings BEFORE the session? Being a return client, I don't get too nervous before sessions. I was pumped to get in there and catch up and be a supermodel. I was definitely nervous before my first session, but it went away so quickly!


How (if any) did your feelings change during or after your boudoir session? Any nerves that I do have before a session, go away almost immediately. Kierra has such a warm, friendly personality that makes you feel comfortable right away.


What was your favorite part of your boudoir experience? I seriously love all of it. Playing dress up in outfits that I could never see myself in and getting to just feel beautiful while chatting it up with someone who makes you feel like a friend right away, then being blown away by the images of yourself is fun, but the best part of the entire experience is how incredible you feel about yourself afterward.


How (if any) did your boudoir experience change your overall being? I have a confidence that I hadn't felt in so long. I had always been happy with my body until other expressed that they weren't happy with it. I struggled for years trying to get a "perfect body" and after my sessions, I realized that my imperfect body is totally perfect. Walking past any of my images and thinking, "Look at that badass. You know that's you, right? Yeah. Go on, girl" always gives me that little bit of extra confidence and motivation to get through my rough days.


What advice or information would you give to someone wanting to book a session with Kierra? DO IT!! It's so much fun and you will see yourself differently, and I mean that in the best way possible.

Would you consider booking another boudoir session in the future? Absolutely!

Anything else you would like to add about your boudoir experience or information you would like to give to a potential woman thinking about boudoir: After this most recent session, I would have to say don't sleep on an outfit just because it doesn't look picture perfect in the mirror. I tried on a strappy piece that my boobs literally hung over and I laughed at it at first, but I ended up keeping it on and the images were KILLER!
